[00:00:05] I'm realised in that I'm not...

[00:00:10] I think the biggest difference is I had a level of control over my body.

[00:00:15] I had a level of control over my train and a level of control over my race

[00:00:18] when I was younger.

[00:00:19] You hit Perry Men, of course, and you have no control.

[00:00:23] No control whatsoever.

[00:00:24] So I found it...

[00:00:26] It literally was like I woke up on my 41st birthday

[00:00:29] and my body had just gone mad.

[00:00:32] Absolutely mad.

[00:00:35] It's just...

[00:00:36] You know what I'm talking about though, right?

[00:00:38] No, I don't.

[00:00:39] My one.

[00:00:41] I wish.

[00:00:42] I wish.

[00:00:43] And it's, you know, I'd been on the depot injection since I was a teenager

[00:00:47] because of all the problems I had in periods.

[00:00:49] So all of a sudden I was experiencing periods again,

[00:00:52] which is something I've not had to deal with in training.

[00:00:54] Do you know how much more I respect women in sport now

[00:00:58] because training and racing with a period is horrendous.

[00:01:04] Absolutely horrendous.

[00:01:05] A friend...

[00:01:06] Imagine it, imagine it.

[00:01:07] It's like hands down to those amazing women who do that.

[00:01:11] Like I just...

[00:01:13] Absolute warriors.

[00:01:15] The pergurals.

[00:01:16] You really are.

[00:01:17] Like Scotland's women, our lives, our stories.

[00:01:21] Part two coming soon.
